The Capital of Kenya is a city that has refused to die. In spite of unabated abuse over many years through mismanagement, corruption and bad governance, the city has soldiered on, seemingly with a life of its own. This tropical city enjoys a near perfect weather (save for the ravages of global warming), has plenty of optimistic and friendly people and is a darling of world organizations and multinationals. I personally believe that Nairobi is driven by its natural status as a hub for the region and an economic headquarters for an even larger region. It is a global city waiting to exhale.
